b. - Abbreviation for Born or Birth - example: b.1911
d. - Abbreviation for Died or Death - example: d.1997
Given Name - The name given to someone - their first name.
m. - Abbreviation for Married or Marriage - example: m.1952
nee - The name that follows this identifies a woman's maiden name - example: Sarah Watson nee Webster
Surname - The name taken from someone's father - their last name.
